Work Progressing fast
March holidays!
So have been going to our new pad every morning.
Today, this new wrought iron gate greeted us. Hubby choosed the design. Simple and Nice.
Work is progressing fast.

Construction of false ceiling, false walls and partition wall started on Monday and should complete today.

We wanted the partition to be 35inches long. However, after it was constructed we realised that it was too short and needed it to be extended to 42 inches. (Fengshui master say either 35 or 42!) Patrick kindly agreed. *paiseh*

The previous owner hacked the wall between the study room and the balcony. We have them partitioned again so that the study room is converted to our living room and the balcony will be our study room.
MMmm …. Our home looks smaller with the partitions.
Look! No more pipes!

But spent and additional hundred odd to extend the air con piping so that these can be concealed in the false walls.
Discussed with Ah Keong, the carpenter about the cabinets below the window and should be up when the kitchen cabinets come in.
Cabinet frame for ALUMIX doors.

We got Patrick to construct the frames for us. ALUMIX charges $300 per frame. Which would have cost $600 for the two bedrooms. Asked Patrick how much he charges and all he said was “Cheap lah”!
