Finale : Kids Room
Got the roller blinds from Jimmy Textile at Tg Katong Complex. Really brightens the whole room. When the kids nap in the afternoon, they would usually turn on the aircon and pull the blinds down. The blinds shields out light 100%. So the room is pretty dark when we roll the blinds down during the day.
Got shelves from IKEA for the cabinets under the windows. That’s where the boys keep their storybooks.
A cosy story corner at the left hand side of the room. The yellow box at the side of the room is actually part of the staircase of the bedroom set. Due to space constrain we could not slot that piece in. Fortunately the boys have no problem climbing up to the bed.
The bedroom set comes complete with a desk.
We cahnged the door knobs. The originals are flat silver ones. We bought these big number ones from IKEA and the kids love them.
I like the blinds! You’ve both done a fantabulous job with all the renovation and moving in the middle of yr work/school. Glad you can finally enjoy the fruits of yr labor now =) And I am so jealous of the kids room. Last time when I was young, my room had this big-a$$ strawberry shortcake thing on the wall that I was always terrified of when I went to sleep at night. Yihang and Yixiang’s room is so bright and cheery - sure no scary monsters wan.
