Finale : Kitchen

We wanted the kitchen to be bright thus the white kitchen top, the white upper cabinets and the light grey lower cabinets.

Really regreted on the colour combi because its really difficult to maintain. Grr!! I am already thinking that a couple of years down the road, I will change the upper cabinet doors to the frosted glass ones with silver trimming.

Above all, I wanted the kitchen to have the clean cut modern look. Thus, I do not hand any untensils on the walls. All ladels, scissors, kitchen towels are kept in the drawers.

And the TV .., we needed that for the kids. The maid needs to keep an eye of them while she cooks thus the decision to put a TV inside the kitchen.

Sink: Franke Acquario from Asia Excel

Hob & Hood : Rinnai Ceramics Hob and Hood from Asia Excel

Tap : Paffoni from Sim Siang Choon

Backsplash : Tempered Glass from Ho Bee

This is a lil cosy corner beside the fridge. Got this chic bar table top and stools from The Life Shop during their warehouse sale a couple of months back.

We usually dine here during the weekdays since hubby works late and the kiddos have their dinner early.

My pre-schooler simply loves to have candle light breakfasts, lunches and dinners.

  2. Actually white is not difficult to maintain. my kitchen is white and red, and all the white parts are still WHITE! since you have helper, get her to clean every night after cooking… btw, i use the Way Way multi-purpose cleaner, very good, clean. perhaps that’s why the cabinets are still white.

  3. wah the bar table etc looks so lomantic! I lurve everything! Altho my dream kitchen would have more stainless steel and since my family business includes utensils, I think I’d prefer to have some displayed (knife rack, upside-down wine glasses) =D hehe
